Dr Keith Burgess is accredited skin cancer doctor (The Skin Cancer College of Australasia), and also a fellow and tutor of the college. He has undergone extensive education, training, and rigorous testing to prove his expertise in skin cancer detection and treatment to achieve his fellowship status.
Our doctors have passion for the highest quality care and have dedicated their careers to detecting and treating skin cancers. They have been treating patients for years in the Fremantle, Baldivis, Rockingham and Cockburn areas.
Our doctors use both surgical and a variety of non-surgical treatments when treating detected cancers, and their extensive training allows them to use these appropriately depending on the type of skin cancer and patient preference.
Our doctors have been trained in advanced surgical techniques including skin flaps and skin grafts, techniques often used by plastic surgeons. We strongly believe in patient centred care, involving our patients in decisions regarding their treatment where multiple options are available.

Dr Keith Burgess
SKIN CANCER DOCTOR
SKIN CANCER COLLEGE FELLOW
Dr Keith Burgess graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2003. He has trained in many surgical specialties including ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Thoracic (Chest) surgery, General surgery, Colorectal surgery, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic surgery. He completed his general practice specialist training in 2010 and has worked in Australia since 2013. During this time his focus has been on skin cancer medicine and surgery.
Having seen the impact of skin cancer on the Australian population, Dr Keith has completed extensive training in skin cancer medicine and surgery, including complex surgical techniques (skin flaps and grafts) and advanced level dermoscopy for skin cancer detection.

Dr Marcin Narożny
SKIN CANCER DOCTOR
Dr Marcin Narożny graduated in Poland in 2006 and worked as a doctor in the West Midlands, UK for several years until emigrating to Australia in 2013.
Dr Marcin is passionate about Skin Cancer Medicine (detection and management), and has spent several years training to optimise his expertise in the field of skin cancer medicine using a variety of non-surgical and surgical procedures. He is currently working towards his Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Marcin is renowned for his blend of expertise, compassion, and dedication that defines his outstanding care in skin cancer management.

Dr Shiree Treleaven
SKIN CANCER DOCTOR
Introducing Dr Shiree Treleaven, our new female skin cancer doctor! A graduate from Notre Dame University in Fremantle, Dr Shiree brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Having worked predominantly in the Fremantle and Rockingham areas, she has honed her skills in skin cancer detection and treatment with a special focus on dermoscopy.
Prior to pursuing her medical degree, Dr Shiree delved into the world of psychology research, showcasing her well-rounded background and deep understanding of patient care.

Dr Amr Diab
SKIN CANCER DOCTOR
Dr Amr Diab graduated in Egypt in 2010 and has been working in Australia since 2014.
Driven by a deep commitment to advancing in his field, Dr. Amr has dedicated years to studying Skin Cancer Medicine, specialising in detection and management through both non-surgical and surgical interventions.
Currently pursuing his Fellowship with the esteemed Skin Cancer College of Australasia, Dr. Amr's relentless pursuit of professional growth underscores his unwavering dedication to delivering excellence in skin cancer treatment.

Sarah
PRATICE MANAGER and REGISTERED NURSE
Sarah has over 20 years nursing experience in many fields of medicine, including Burns and Plastic Surgery at a regional teaching hospital. She was also the tissue viability nurse, tending to and giving advice on complex wounds, and has worked as a community nurse, treating chronic wounds in patient’s homes.
To further her understanding of Skin Cancer, Sarah completed her Certificate in Dermoscopy in 2020.
Sarah is passionate about giving our patients the best experience and high-quality care.

REGISTERED NURSE
Having been a qualified nurse since 2012, Sara is passionate about all things skin, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing to further develop her dermatology and wound care knowledge.
Sara has years of experience working in a dermatology practice, and we are very lucky to have her join our team at The Skin Cancer Centre Coogee!

Phoebe
REGISTERED NURSE
You may have seen Phoebes face previously working on our reception. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2022 and after gaining some great experience working on the surgical wards at Rockingham Hospital, we are lucky enough to have her return to work with us, sharing her time between here and continued nursing at Rockingham Hospital. She is quietly confident and very knowledgeable in the post-surgical management of skin cancers, and also with non-surgical alternatives.

PRACTICE NURSE
Georgia is our friendly and highly skilled practice nurse. As part of her graduate program, Georgia worked in various surgical specialties including Maxillofacial, Burns and Reconstructive Surgical unit. This has provided her with advanced wound assessment, and post-operative wound management skills. We are glad to have her with us.
